Hi, My name is Malik. I am a teacher with LOTS of English teaching experience!!! 15 years to be exact. For most of the time I was teaching English as a second language to students in Qatar. I've taught students from 5 to 70 years old throughout my professional career. I've taught just about every course you can think of, be it listening, reading, writing, speaking, grammar, IELTS, TOEFL, Business English, English for special purposes, SAT English, editing term papers, editing Masters theses, teaching kindergarten kids or doctors and lawyers, I've taught or done it in both classroom and one-to-one settings. As for IELTS, with 10+ years of experience preparing students for the exam...I feel especially confident that I will be able to guide you through those preparations. Recently, over the last 3 months, I have discovered the joy of tutoring English online on a full-time basis. I had previously done it in spurts, but I am now completely dedicated to helping students across the world, not just in my locale. I love to interact with new people from all over the world, in person and online. How do I do that in person you ask? I love to travel and I have been to many different places. I've studied 3 other languages in my life, so I know the struggles you go through when trying to learn a new language. The biggest struggle is always the most important part of learning a language...speaking! I like to create an environment where you can speak as freely as possible, with an engaging and friendly person at the the other end of your screen. I'm naturally funny and friendly, so students feel comfortable with me and willing to open up and make mistakes. I pay attention to the student's needs.
